Get your car washed by our campers in the CIT program at the Peter Gilgan Family YMCA today from now - 3:00pm! If you're feeling parched our campers have prepared some lemonade fore sale!  Please join us, all donations will go towards sending children to camp!

Due to unsafe levels of E Coli Valens lake will be closed for this week. As a replacement campers will enjoy water based activities, to keep cool. Campers will also have fun with our slip-n-slides! The water being used for these games and activities comes from the town and is clean!
As the summer heat is upon us, parents can be assured that our camp staff are taking precautions to keep their campers cool and hydrated. Campers will have access to water fountains or drinking water taps at all of our sites.  While extra bottles of water are on hand, campers must remember to bring their own waterbottle to fill up. Counsellors will ensure that their campers remain in shaded areas as much as possible. Counsellors will be participating in many water based activities throughout the day such as water-balloon games as well as slip and slide activities. They will also ensure that hats are being worn and sunscreen is being applied (and re-applied!) all day long. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about the heat this week! Have a look at how crafty our campers can be!  On a warm, sunny day our little superhero's had a chance to meet Oakville's local fire fighters!  Due to inclement weather the schedule trip to Safari Niagara has been changed to Ripley's Believe It Or Not. we apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope our campers will enjoy their revised trip today.
